Over a decade ago, as he sat on his John Deere tractor during a long sixteen-hour day of composting, Dan "The Compost Man," co-founder of Soil, Seed, and Water, envisioned creating the ultimate growth soil. Dan was searching for the best substrates with rich biology, nutrient values, and optimal physical properties that could be used to grow food.
This potent mix of organic components enriches any soil with macro and micronutrients, diverse microbial biology, and structural elements, ensuring optimal water absorption, drainage, and mineral content. However, this mix ended up being too "hot" to grow food directly in it, but it became a perfect supplemental plant food. This mix serves as the base for other growing products produced by Soil, Seed, and Water, including the "Ready Go Garden Potting Soil".
How to use SuperBooster Concentrated Organic Soil Amendment Fertilizer
For New Plantings
Blend SuperBooster into your existing soil at a ratio of 1 part SuperBooster to 4 parts soil. This ensures an enriched substrate, laden with macro and micronutrients for superior plant growth.
For Established Plants
For established plants, top-dress with 1/2" layer and gently work into the soil surface.
Commercial Application
If your crops are already in place, simply apply a 1/2" layer of SuperBooster to the soil surface, and gently integrate it. This provides an immediate nutrient boost, enhancing overall soil structure and plant health.

For Commercial Application
Ideal for trees, shrubs, and perennials, Artemis Root Boost Blend should be mixed with the planting soil at a rate of 1 part Artemis to 3 parts native soil. When repotting or planting, ensure the roots are thoroughly covered with the mixture to encourage strong root development and reduce transplant shock. This blend is also beneficial for existing plants; apply a top dressing around the base and lightly incorporate into the soil.

Soil Seed and Water’s purpose is to supply the demand of the ever-growing organic farm industry. Specifically, we want to provide consistent quality soils and seed products on a large scale for organic farmers and for retail customers in the southwest United States.

Innovation is a focal point at Soil Seed and Water (SSW). We understand that the only way to produce organic and sustainable compost is to use the tools and technology available in modern-day.
Compost Irrigation System
In addition to innovation, the SSW irrigation system delivers an astonishing 10,000 GPH per row directly without needing water truck refills. This saves labor and improves water delivery to the compost. The water used in the composting process contains blue algae called cyanobacteria, which acts as a probiotic that promotes microbial activity and ultimately improves the compost quality. The result of this innovation is that we have a far better and more consistent product, which is cost-effective and then passed on to our clients.
Temperature Logging System
An example of this is the use of the Thermologger. A device designed to eliminate labor and improve temperature taking during the main phases of the composting process. The Thermologger automates temperature logging into the Soil Seed and Water Central Database. SSW central database is designed to be accessible from anywhere to ensure various layers of data monitoring. This improves data accuracy and management.
