ANSIKE Soil Heating Cable Accelerates Germination and Plant Growth with Gentle Heat

Some plants need cold soil, while others need warm soil. That's why soil heating cables are essential for off-season seed germination. Inserted into the soil, these cables help heat the soil to the desired temperature, which speeds up the germination of the seeds.

This cable is designed to provide heat in propagation trays, benches, greenhouse borders, cold frames, etc., or for air heating to increase soil temperature and promote plant germination and growth.

How to use the soil heating cable?

Soil heating cable can be buried 3 to 4 inches into the soil, or you can put nursery pots or nutrient soil clods on the soil heating cable directly. For better heat preservation, you can also cover it with film, mats, or straw mulch.
If you want to use it on a cooling rack, be aware that in case the weather suddenly warms up, the sun may heat the rack to dangerous levels. At this point, you should manually control it by ventilating.
However, the soil heating cable needs to be kept away from combustibles. If it is necessary to cover warm items, the heating cable must be properly buried in the ground so that the colored portion of the heating cable is not exposed during use. If the cable is exposed, overheating, damage or other hazardous conditions may result.

Warning:

1. Do not overlap, cross, or knot the cable when using them.
2. When the heating cable is not placed according to the first article, do not conduct an electrification test on the cable, so as not to cause a short circuit of the core wire or burn out the plastic skin.
3. Soil heating cables have fixed power and length and cannot be cut short.
4. When personnel enters the electrified heating area, they must first cut off the power supply before entering the operation.
5. The coil heating cable has a voltage of 120V. Be sure to pay attention to the voltage when using it, so as not to damage the product due to incorrect voltage.
6. The soil heating cable must be kept away from combustibles.
